U Mole’s Pipe to Site range of coiled pipe transportation and dispensing trailers include Chute Roller and Safety Loader designs. Both are specifically designed for use in the gas and water sectors the trailers are of a high quality manufacture featuring the heaviest build quality in the market to withstand the rigours of the utility plant rental industry.
The unique designs eliminate the need for central drum mechanisms and all of the associated slide in bars/spring bolts and as such make the units simple and safer to load and dispense in the field.
Currently available in three models: - 90mm Safety Loader, 125mm Chute Roller and 180mm Chute Roller, the trailers all meet the requirements of water and gas (GIS) industry standards featuring pipe end restrains as a standard and being able to be loaded and dispensed from ground level in normal operation with no need for operators climb on the superstructure.
Latest developments include flat pack designs for export and the option of galvanised finish for extended plant life.
Available in three different models each Pipe to Site coil trailer is suitable for use with a range coil sizes and manufacture. As such it is important to ensure you have the right size unit for your application.
When selecting a trailer for transportation and dispensing coils of PE pipe two basic rules apply:
- Height, width and depth of the coil: -
Check that the internal dimensions of the trailer are suitable for the size of coil to be loaded.
- Weight of the coil: -
Check that the weight of the coil, when added to the un-laden weight of the trailer does not exceed the trailers gross weight. All Pipe to Site Trailers should have a weight plate on the front ‘A' frame.
