Hammerhead Mole® pneumatic piercing tools offer piling contractors a highly effective alternative to traditional pneumatic mini piling hammers.
Hammerhead mini pilers benefit from reduced machine length and weight , and offering substantially increased impact and therefore pile driving performance.
All Hammerhead moles feature replaceable internal wear rings to ensure that full impact performance values can be maintained throughout the equipments lifetime of operation.
Maintenance is the simplest of any mini piling hammer on the market due to the unique patented clamped rear anvil design. This enables users to strip the equipment quickly either on-site, or in the workshop without the need for specialist tools, heat sources and solvent cleaners/adhesives, saving on downtime and cost.
With a comprehensive range of machine sizes from 65mm – 200mm OD Hammerhead mini-pilers offer long life, high quality and performance and reliability as standard.
Hammerhead moles feature: -

The right tool size for the job: -
When selecting a mini piling mole for the installation of steel piles two basic rules apply: -
- Size of mini piler: -
Ensure that the outside diameter of the mini piler chosen is smaller than that of the internal diameter of the pile to be driven. Common sizes include 95mm Piler for 4” pile tubes and 130mm Piler for 6” pile tubes.
- Size of compressor: -
Ensure that the compressor available on-site can supply the correct volume and pressure of air to the piler for continuous operation. Also remember that Hammerhead mini pilers operate at a full 8 bar for maximum performance.
